My blog is for commentary on politics, so it seems odd to put a biography in. But I suppose there might be one or two readers of this blog who want to know something about me.
My name is Brad Malestein. I work as a statistician for a bank. I follow Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism, in case that is not clear from the posts.
I chose Thucydides for this blog's name because he was the first great, objective historian, who cut through what people said about events to find the truth of the matter. The title is "Contemporary History" because Thucydides wrote about something he lived during, the Peloponnesian War, and this blog is primarily about current political events.
