Aiming the Cannon at Individual Rights

There is talk of treating violations of indecency regs as criminal acts.  Stating his goal in appropriately horrifying terms, Rep. F. James Sensenbrenner, R-Illinois says he wants to "[a]im the cannon specifically at the people committing the offenses."

I hope the sheer evilness of this needs no further elaboration.  I hope that anyone who thought that the Republicans had a shred of respect for rights, notes what party Sensenbrenner is in.
